The Stocks Veterinary Centre in Upton-upon-Severn
The Stocks Veterinary Centre has been in this former doctors' surgery in School Lane since 2009, when the business moved from New Street where there had been a veterinary practice since 1945. The name is a reference to the old stocks that were in New Street (formerly known as Stocks Lane) in the 16th century.

Hilton House, Upton-upon-Severn
Impressive Georgian house on Minge Lane in Upton-upon-Severn. The house is Grade II listed and dates from around 1790. It was possibly designed by Anthony Keck. Historic England description UPTON-UPON-SEVERN MINGE LANE SO 8540 2/104 (north side) Hilton II C1790 red brick house. Three-storey and basement. Slate low pitch roof. End wall stacks. Three window range. Modillion eaves cornice. Two 2-storey, 3-sided canted bays with flat tops, iron tent canopies to windows. Three windows above. Central window 1st floor with damaged window head. Glazing bar sashes. Sill course to 1st floor, and stringcourse over basement. Fine central 6 panel door in broad arched surround with radiating bar fanlight. Stone steps with cast-iron railings. Elaborate wrought iron porch-screen supporting 1st floor balcony. Three-sided with arched opening. Much scroll work. Possibly c1820.
