A minor channel of the River Teme
This side channel branches off the main course of the river at a weir just down stream of Bransford Bridge. The historical (20th century) maps show no evidence of a mill or any other reason why this channel or the weir is here.

Looking downstream from the 1924 bridge. This is the site of an earlier bridge. If you look carefully just to the right of the swan there is the remains of the central support of the old bridge just beneath the water.
