Old Milestone, on an unclassified road, between Red Castle & Green Hill
Located on the East side of road, by the road. Cast iron post, Grazebrook iron casting design, erected by the County Council, 19th century. Blackhouse Lane junction
At the farm end of Blackhouse Lane, the triangular lane junction, plus bench and shady tree, await walkers. The bench acts as a memorial to two people.

Unsuitable for HGVs
Not very suitable for anything else either given the amount of hedgerow growth and rutting. Blackhouse Lane seen at Blackhouse Farm. As of June 2008, cyclists are particularly recommended to avoid the lane due to potholes and ruts.

Converted Barns, Blackhouse Farm
The seat under the oak tree is in memory of "Mick Mansell (1933 -1990) who farmed here and restored these barns" and also "P Emson a good friend and workmate 1927 - 1993"
