Sebright Arms (1), 158 London Road, Worcester
Located on London Road (part of the A44 road). It was at one time a Marstons public house but the Marstons signage has been removed and so it would appear it no longer belongs to them. The building seems to have originally been an 18th century coaching inn, being on one of the main roads out of the city. The T is missing from the name on the building's exterior. Image

Sebright Arms (2) - sign, 158 London Road, Worcester
The Sebright Baronetcy, after which this public house appears to be named, was created in 1626 for Edward Sebright, who was High Sheriff of Worcestershire. He later fought for the Royalist cause in the Civil War. Currently the baronetcy is regarded as dormant aince 1995, as the claimant has not been able to successfully prove his succession to the title. This sign has been painted or affixed to a blocked up window, probably blocked up along with the one above because of the Window Tax which was in force from 1696 to 1851. Image
