Shrub Hill Industrial Estate
This site that is now owned by St Modwen and is multiple occupancy was once the home to the Worcester Engine Works of 1864. It later became the West Central Wagon Works and was then Heenan & Froude, famous for dynamometers amongst other things. The British Caprotti gear was also made here. This has been a constant feature in Worcester for many years but one day it may just disappear.

Shrub Hill Industrial Estate from Tolladine Road
This large industrial complex that is now in multiple occupancy dates back to the Worcester Engine Works of 1864. It later became the West Central Wagon Works and was then Heenan & Froude, famous for dynamometers amongst other things. The British Caprotti gear was also made here. It is now in multiple occupancy. This is one of the less prepossessing viewpoints but it is important to include it because one day it will disappear.

Shrub Hill Road - B4205, Worcester
The incredibly ugly building is Isaac Maddox House although a local councillor has called it beautiful. It is owned by St Modwen and in multiple occupancy. The NHS, particularly the Health & Care Trust has been a major occupier but decamped in 2019 to No. 2 King's Court adjoining Worcestershire Royal Hospital. The Trust described Isaac Maddox House as ageing and inefficient. I once had to deliver something there and wasn't impressed.
