The Northwick
The last of Worcester's cinemas to be built, the Northwick was built in 1938 to designs by John Alexander. Behind this plain facade is an extraordinary art deco interior which has recently been restored.

The old Northwick cinema, Northwick Road, Worcester
A very special Art Deco exterior in great nick. Pity it's not still a picture house, but there you go, at least it's still a splendid example of the genre.

Be You at Gatehouse Brides, Droitwich Road, Worcester
The street name on the left is for Hungerpit Walk while the one to its right is for Droitwich Road. I took this for the unusual street name rather than for the bridal shop.
