Hatfields, Jaguar car dealer, 391 Ombersley Road, Worcester
Hatfields claim to be the leading independent Jaguar car dealer group in the UK. They operate from six sites and were founded in Sheffield in 1920, where they opened one of the first Jaguar showrooms. On their Worcester site, on the corner of Ombersley Road and Colin Road, they sell new and used Jaguar cars, as well as undertaking their servicing.

Co-operative food store, 387 Ombersley Road, Worcester
This very small food store is on the corner of Ombersley Road and Colin Road, in the north of Worcester. There is also a much larger Co-operative store in Ombersley Road, which is much nearer the city centre. Rather unusually, the Worcester stores are owned and run by the Co-operative Group (formerly the Co-operative Wholesale Society). Most Co-op stores in the rest of Worcestershire are owned and run by the Mid-counties Co-operative Society.

King George V postbox in Ombersley Road, defying gravity
It stands or, to be more accurate, leans on the corner of Ombersley Road and Colin Road, outside the Co-op store. As George V died in 1936, this has probably been here a very long time. Presumably it was fully upright originally, if so something rather large seems to have given it an almighty shove.

The New Inn is a large popular pub on the corner of Ombersley Road and Whinfield Road, in the north of Worcester. As well as parking spaces by the pub, as seen in this view, the pub is fortunate to also have a very large car park opposite, on the other side of Whinfield Road. Another view:- Image
