The Dewdrop Inn (1), Bell Lane, Lower Broadheath
The Dewdrop Inn is a Georgian building. It was closed for some time but has now successfully reopened as a food focused pub with accommodation; in other words it has reverted to providing the functions of a traditional inn. Part of the extensive refurbishment included a single storey extension, part of which can be seen in this view.

The Dewdrop Inn, Broadheath Common
I get it; the name, a pun on 'do drop in' but it brings to mind a red tipped nose, large, maybe belonging to an old man, with a 'dewdrop' defying gravity from the nostrils...not a great image for a place associated with beverages, food and hospitality.
Memorable though.
