Kyre Park and St Mary, Kyre Wyard
Whether by Brown or not, the setting for this grand mansion is magical. Happily now returned to use as a private house, it is encouraging to see that extensive restoration is ongoing. The grounds are open and as yet, it seems, undiscovered. Get there before they are, I suggest. The church is well worth the journey alone.

Kyre Park
The marvellous Georgian house of Kyre Park in the village of Kyre in Worcestershire is not just a Georgian building, it covers over a 16th century house that might have been built around a castle. This Georgian facade dates from 1754, and by today this is now a private house, as back then, the house used to be open to the public to show them their impressive gardens, but I'm not entirely sure if the public are allowed to walk around the gardens by today. Hopefully I will look around the gardens in the future, but I'm not entirely sure if they are on private or public land. Who knows. Anyways, this house is really great, and is perhaps the first *proper* big Georgian house I have seen in real-life.

The gardens around the park is worth a treat too, and you can spend an entire hour looking all around! This photo was taken from the mini car park.
