View from car park, Tenbury Wells
Right of centre is housing on Godson's Close, across the B4204. The wood along the steep edge of the flood plain seems to be unnamed.

Car Park at Tenbury Swimming Pool
The large free car park at Tenbury Swimming Pool is normally quiet early in the morning, but later on, you can hardly park here at all! On the side of the windows at the entrance to the swimming pool is the logo of the swimming pool, which shows the famous Pump Rooms structure on it.

An Inconvenient Truth
The wide pavement and hoardings mark the site of the public toilets fatally undermined by a neighbouring stream during the epic floods of 2007. Fortunately, alternative facilities are available just off the main street, near the public library and car parks.

The Pump Rooms (Tenbury Wells)
James Cranston of Birmingham designed this lovely set of buildings in 1862, and the Tenbury Improvement Company built them afterwards. The buildings are very impressive and creative, but they became derelict in 1939 and remained in that condition for 60 years. As the 20th century came to a close, the buildings were preserved to their original condition and here they are, in all heir glory. This is the most recognised landmark in the town, and I'm not sure why I never stumbled upon these until the day I took this photograph (I did know this building in the past).
