Montreal House, Worcester Road , Great Malvern
One of the large houses built before the great Victorian expansion of Great Malvern along the road to Worcester, high above the Severn Plain. Charles Darwin stayed here with his daughter Annie in 1851 when she was dying (probably) of TB. He brought her to Malvern to see if she could be cured by the famous Malvern Water Cure. Unfortunately she died here on April 23rd of that year and is buried in Malvern Priory churchyard. Image Image
