Royal Mail delivery box, Poolbrook Common
The grey box on the right is for holding Royal Mail for the postman or woman to deliver. The mail is dropped off from a van in advance of the postman delivering on foot. It saves the postman returning to the sorting office when his load is depleted, saving time, money and rubber soles.
