Hardwicke House
A 1960s block of flats in Abbey Road. Totally out of character with the large Victorian houses in the area. The post box dates from Edward VII reign.

Elmsdale on Abbey Road
Elmsdale is a fine example of the many varied Victorian houses in Malvern; it was built about 1853 for Dr James Loftus Marsden to treat his water cure patients. However, by the 1861 census it was occupied by Miss Caroline Cooper who ran a Ladies' School.

Victorian house
A grand Victorian neo-Jacobean style house on Abbey Road. Complete with diaper brickwork, drip moulds above the mullion windows, tower and ornate chimneys. Surprisingly it does not appear to be listed.

South Bank, 47 Abbey Road, Malvern
The house is actually divided into 47 and 47a (named Glendaruel). This mock gothic house was in 1911 occupied by an Arthur Hollins who gave his occupation as a merino spinner. This must be the Arthur Hollins of organic farming fame.
