The Morgan (formerly The Cavalry Arms) (1), 52 Clarence Road, Great Malvern
In recent years this was rather a rundown pub, owned by Punch Taverns, and called The Cavalry Arms. It was then closed for a few months and put up for sale. It was purchased by the Wye Valley Brewery, and re-opened as The Morgan in 2009. It seems to be doing well under its new ownership. Image Image

The Morgan (formerly The Cavalry Arms) (2), 52 Clarence Road, Great Malvern
Named after the famous Morgan cars, which have been made in Malvern for many decades. There was previously a pub called the Morgan at Link Top in Malvern, but that closed permanently, so the Wye Valley Brewery decided to use the name for this pub, which used to be The Cavalry Arms. Image Image

The Morgan, Malvern
Some of the pub's customers are in the Clarence Road beer garden on a warm and sunny day in early May 2013. Previously named The Cavalry Arms, the pub is now named in celebration of the Morgan car, which is made a few miles away. Located in Malvern, Worcestershire, The Morgan is the Wye Valley Brewery's first pub outside Herefordshire.

Cat crossing the line near Great Malvern Station
Looking southwards from the end of the platform 2. The ginger cat had sat by the line until the down signal changed from green, then proceeded to cross in a leisurely way - no doubt to check out the other side of the track.
