Great Malvern
Here is the most popular area of the spa town of Malvern, and many of the buildings in this area can be viewed from the summit of North Hill. This hill is the second highest hill in the Malvern Hills range, whose summit at 1,303ft (397m) makes this the highest point of the Worcestershire Way long-distance trail (runs for 31 miles from Bewdley to Great Malvern). Some of the buildings visible in this view are Malvern Library, Malvern Theatres, Great Malvern Priory and Park View.

Plant sale outside Greenlink Organic
Greenlink is one of the better shops in Malvern for organic wholefood and much more. A real alternative to Waitrose (visible beyond the monkey puzzle tree) In addition to plants there was a sale of refurbished tools. North Hill in the background.

Shops on Graham Road, Malvern
On the left is the A2 hairdressing with the offices of Friar street Insurance above. The Bridal Gallery is decorated in red, white and blue on the Royal Wedding weekend. We just checked to see if the window display had changed. We are eagerly anticipating the copy of "the dress". Next door is Greenlink Organic a superbly interesting shop with more than just organic food. Behind are the Somerfield (now almost a Co-op) and Waitrose in white to the right partially hidden behind the monkey puzzle tree. The spire of Holly Mount church can just be seen next to the trunk of the tree. North Hill is in the distance. Image]

The Bridal Gallery shop in Graham Road, Malvern
Decorated for the Royal Wedding weekend in red, white and blue, but (hopefully) will soon be displaying a copy of "that dress". One of the Union Flags, flying on the shops opposite, is reflected in the window. Image] Image]

A copy of the Royal Wedding Dress on display
The window display has just been changed this morning to include the eagerly awaited wedding dress. This is Suzi Briggs "interpretation" of the Royal Wedding Dress worn by Catherine Middleton when she became Duchess of Cambridge. Suzi made sketches of the dress as soon as it was revealed to the world on Friday. She then sourced the materials needed and started construction in time to display the creation on Breakfast TV on Tuesday morning - all in under 4 days. Image] Image]

The Royal Wedding Dress (copy) in Malvern
Suzi Briggs made sketches of the Royal Wedding Dress as soon as it was revealed to the world on Friday. She then sourced the materials needed and started construction in time to display the creation on Breakfast TV on Tuesday morning - all in under 4 days. One day later it was on display in the Bridal Gallery in Graham Road, Malvern. This interpretation using less expensive materials has a much shorter train. The train and the lace jacket are detachable. The cost for this copy is thought to be only about £1000 whereas the original is thought to be in the region of £100,000. Image]
