St Nicholas House on Cowleigh Road in North Malvern. The house was built on the site of what was an independent school named Clarendon School, which was founded in 1898. The school closed on this site in 1992 when it merged with Monkton Combe School, near Bath in Somerset. The former Emperor Haile Selassie, used to visit Malvern, staying at the Abbey Hotel when visiting his grandchildren who attended this school.
