Village Hall
The design of the building, which is Grade II Listed, suggests a 14th century origin, but some of the timbers have been dated to the mid-15th century. It served as a school from at least 1667 until 1910; in the 1870s there were apparently 140 boys attending school here. Girls were taught in a separate school nearby from 1856. It fell into disrepair by the mid-20th century, but was restored between 2000 and 2005, the restoration suffering a setback when a fire broke out in 2003. It is now in use as a community hall.
