The Cornmarket
Looking north-west from New Street across the Cornmarket square. On the right is Old St Martin's Church, which has a fine set of bells. In the centre is No 12 or the Slug in Jug, a modern pub, decked out in bold black and white colours, and very popular with the young people. Next door to the left is The Exchange, a traditional looking pub which is always busy, especially when the football is on the television. Both pubs have pavement tables.
