Russell Cottages
This pair of semi-detached thatched cottages were designed by C.E. Bateman for the Russell furniture makers in 1924, originally there were five other pairs which were lost to fire in 1934. The cottages where built for employees working for Gordon Russell. Ironically the only surviving pair pictured here were destroyed by fire in 2009 and has since been restored.
