The Monaco Ballroom, Hindley
Situated very close to the town's major crossroads, this old Palais-style ballroom is surprisingly (well, it surprised this ratepayer!) owned and managed by the same charitable limited trust company that runs Wigan's library service.

The Monaco, Hindley
Opened in 1938 as the Rex Cinema. This closed in 1957 following which it was leased to Wigan Borough Council who turned it into The Monaco ballroom. Now operated as the Rose Club, although the Monaco name is retained.
