An unusually large building, more like an Anglican church - certainly a rival to St Peter's Cof E on the lower end of Market Street. Unfortunately, also as expensive to maintain, as the scaffolding and shrouding illustrates.

Hidden Treasure - 02
The plate over the door gives the date of the building of this non-conformist chapel - 1700. This makes it one of the oldest churches in Wigan. Founded as a Presbyterian church, it is now Unitarian.
