Worth a second look
All is not as it appears - this bridge under Ince Green Lane carries the road through to a row of Council houses. The bridge was originally built to cross a branch of the Leeds and Liverpool Canal which went northwards off the Wigan flight of locks to serve pits and factories in Ince.
