Cycleway signpost
New cycleway signs have sprung up almost overnight around the Borough. This one is at the end of Leigh Street, by the third lock up the Wigan Flight of the Leeds and Liverpool Canal.

Nothing doing
Expensive-looking notice boards have gone up around town, but this one on Darlington Street has not been used so far. There are, however, no instructions about how local people wishing to do so might actually put a notice in the cabinet.
