Moorthorpe Station looking North
One of the two trains a day to York calls at Moorthorpe Station. The line to York continues straight ahead under the bridge, whilst the route to Wakefield and Leeds branches off to the left.

Moorthorpe railway station, 2000
Opened in 1879 by the Swinton & Knottingley Joint Railway. View south towards Frickley and Swinton, at a time when it needed some TLC. Fortunately the building was completely renovated c.2011.
