Normanton Station looking south
Normanton station is an island platform this is the view south. There were once extensive sidings around here now all the land has gone back to nature.

The 'Flying Scotsman' pub now rebuilt into apartments. The entrance to Normanton railway station was to the left of the building via a covered footbridge.

Normanton Railway Station
Once known as 'the Crewe of the Coalfields', Normanton station as now but a shadow of its former self. The rebuilt station hotel, now apartments, can be seen above the station.
