Old road direction sign, Blacker Lane, Netherton
A superb example of the old type of road sign, which has not only survived, perhaps because it is on a minor road, but looks as if it has been refurbished.

St Andrew's Church, Church Lane, Netherton, Sitlington
Pevsner gives its date as 1881, designed by J D Sedding. He didn't comment on the porch with the vestry (?) on its right side. I suspect from the shape of the roof that it might have been a later extension.
