Kettlethorpe Hall, Sandal near Wakefield
A grade I listed house dated 1727. It is tucked away out of sight of the main roads, and I only found it by accident when following a cycleway short-cut from Barnsley Road to Standbridge Lane. The outer parkland seems to be open to the public, and there is a lake with a remarkable boathouse with a front that is the original richly carved medieval façade of the Wakefield Chantry Chapel.
