Gated entrance from a small car park to cycle route 67 and Walton Country Park
The park is on the site of the former Walton Colliery. The cycle route is a spur off the Trans Pennine Trail.

Railway viaduct near Walton
A short viaduct taking the railway over the route of the former Barnsley Canal (now a walking and cycling route). The line was once a through route from Pontefract to Sheffield but is now truncated to serve only one industrial site near Barnsley Image
