City Fields, Wakefield East [8]
Uncultivated farmland waiting for a new crop of roads and houses. Looking north towards Stanley Hall [Wakefield Hospice]. This is the western edge of a large housing development called 'City Fields' on all the farmland between Stanley Ferry and the current edge of Wakefield.

Stanley Hall
Stanley Hall, a grade II listed building, was built about 1802,Image and was from 1901 a home for mentally sub normal boys. In 1944 it became a nurses home for the nearby Pinderfields hospital. It is located near to Clarke Hall.
