Bede House, College Grove Road
Bede House was from 1892 to 1967, a home for boys. See Image Despite its size it could only accommodate seventeen boys until it was enlarged in 1897, making room for five more boys. (The extension can be seen on the right). The house is listed of Local Interest only.

Grove Hall Cottage
Grove Hall Cottage, 62, College Grove, is a grade II listing building dated late 18thC or early 19thC. The small wrought iron front railings, with spike finials, on a low, stone-coped brick wall, also carry a grade II listing. I can find no further information on the history of this building.
