Ferrybridges
The two bridges that cross the river at Ferrybridge, neither of them now being the main crossing. The A1(M) motorway now crosses a couple of miles upstream.

The Golden Lion Public house
A pleasure boat approaches Ferrybridge lock and the Golden Lion. It passes under the old A1, now re-assigned the A162. The new A1M bridge and motorway now 2 miles upstream.
