This is a group of 14 retail units with offices and flats above, built along the east side of Watling Street in the Mock Tudor style in 1924 (according to the dates on the cast-iron rainwater hoppers).

Radlett station before electrification
In the days before electrification and re-signalling this was the view at the top end of the platforms at Radlett station. A Sheffield to St Pancras service passes at speed. On this day the signal box was switched out.
