Shenley Road, Borehamwood
A London Sovereign bus on the 292 route, still wearing its previous Transdev branding, collects passengers from the Furzehill Road stop on Shenley Road. The 292 is one of two Transport for London routes serving Borehamwood - the other is the 107.

Borehamwood: All Saints Church
Construction of this Church in Shenley Road began around 1900, when Borehamwood was only a small hamlet. The Church was completed and consecrated in 1910. Its website is here http://saintnicholas.members.beeb.net/as/index.html

Former post office, Borehamwood, Hertfordshire
Fine example of a post office designed in a style known colloquially as "Post Office Georgian". The post office at nearby Radlett Image] is in a similar vein. Both buildings were designed by an architect (possibly Frederick Llewellyn) employed in the Government's Office of Works. On examination of this image, it would seem that the building had no entrance! In fact the original entrance was to the left of the building, but has been removed and replaced by a gate and passage way. Behind the building is a large telephone exchange from 1958.
