West Hyde from Tilehouse Lane
View north east from the north-south part of Tilehouse Lane, which bends round and goes down to the crossroads with Denham Way at the left of the photo. Behind are the gravel pits of the Colne Valley as shown in Image The viewpoint and the ridge in the distance are both about 100 feet above the River Colne.

Pynesfield Lake
This is just to the west of the Grand Union Canal and is accessed by a footpath as The Coy Carp is reached. A path then passes along a wooded causeway through Pynesfield Lake before eventually reaching Old Uxbridge Road - see https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/6163154
This view is of the southern part of the lake from the causeway.
