Garston (Hertfordshire) railway station
Opened in 1966 by British Rail on its line from Watford Junction to St. Albans Abbey, it was originally a short wooden platform. It is now slightly longer and slightly more substantial. View south west towards Watford North and Watford Junction.

This bank is located at 1-2 Garston Park Parade WD25 9LQ. However, it is due to close on Thursday 3rd February 2022, it being one of forty one such branches to close between January and April 2022. The No Entry sign indicates that the road in front of the bank which is used for parking vehicles is one way, the entrance being in nearby Garston Lane.

Garston bus garage - south-east elevation
As late as 2015 Garston bus garage operated a significant number of routes in north-west London not to mention several more around Watford and its surrounding areas in Hertfordshire. Since then, following administrative restructuring by its owners Arriva and the loss of routes to other operators, its activities have been drastically reduced. Indeed the garage will close altogether at the end of August when its remaining operations are taken over by London Sovereign.
