Covent Garden Telephone Exchange (1)
Located at 30-34 Bow Street WC2E 7AT, this TE used to have COVent Garden and TEMple Bar numbers until the late 1960s. It now has 0207-240, 257, 379, 438, 497, 831 and 836 plus some other Inner London numbers. The covering outside the TE does not exactly enhance its appearance. Martlett Court can be seen on the left.

Covent Garden Telephone Exchange (2)
This photo shows the front of the TE in Russell Street, where the original entrance to the TE was located. A betting shop now occupies part of its ground floor whilst the Fortune Theatre can be seen in the distance. The bus stop in the foreground is for route RV1 which operates between Covent Garden and Tower Gateway.
