Freemasons' Hall from Longacre
The upper portion of this Art Deco building which stands in Great Queen Street looms above the area. It is the third version, built around 1930 as a memorial to the masons killed in WW1, since Freemasonry was established in London in 1717. In this image, one of the sculptor Antony Gormley's standing human figures can be seen on top, part of his Event Horizon show at the Hayward Gallery.
