St Helens Junction Station
The original buildings remain on the east bound platform, sadly on the west bound there are a couple of modern "bus shelters". The station still bears the name Junction although it ceased to be a junction station in 1965

View east towards Collins Green and Manchester, shortly after electrification. For a similar view six years earlier, see Image
There used to be a further bay platform to the right and another to the far left. The junction was behind the photographer and connected this line with St Helens.
