The stadium is all-seated and has a total capacity of 13,350. The new stadium was built on the site of Naughton Park in 1997 by Halton Borough Council. In December 2007 a sponsorship agreement was made with the Stobart Group and the stadium was renamed as Stobart Stadium Halton.
