Bridge castings, A533 near Runcorn
As part of the construction of the new Mersey Crossing, a stretch of the A533 between Runcorn and Northwich has been closed and is being used to store concrete castings that will form part of the new bridge and road layout, due to open in 2017.

As part of the construction of the new Mersey Crossing, a stretch of the A533 between Runcorn and Northwich has been closed and is being used to store concrete castings that will form part of the new bridge and road layout, due to open in 2017. The yellow baubles are designed to prevent nasty injuries from the steel reinforcements exposed at the end.
