NHS Treatment Centre, Halton Hospital
The new, state of the art NHS Treatment Centre on the Halton Hospital site opened its doors to patients in 2006, it specialises in orthopaedic treatments.

The Tricorn Public House
At present a public house called the Tricorn, this was a wing of a former mansion house, Hallwood, owned by Sir John Chesshyre who was born in Halton in 1662. He was admitted to Gray's Inn in 1682 and called to the bar in 1689 and in 1727 he was declared the king's first serjeant.

Hallwood Park
In the late 17th and 18th centuries a number of prominent gentlemen lived in the Runcorn area including Sir John Chesshyre of Hallwood, a barrister, who built the Chesshyre Library at Halton. This new housing estate was named after his nearby mansion.
