Halton Vicarage, Halton Village
Situated on the road up to Halton Castle, the vicarage was built in 1739 of local sandstone blocks, the doric porch was added at a later date. It is a grade II listed building.

Church of St Mary, Halton Village
The Church of St Mary stands next to Halton Castle on the rocky promontory overlooking the River Mersey and visible for miles around. It was built in 1851 replacing the existing chapel, to a design of Giles Gilbert Scott, of Liverpool Anglican Cathedral (and red telephone box) fame.
