Holy Trinity Church, Runcorn
This parish church was built in 1838 as a chapel to All Saints. The chancel was added in 1857 and it became a parish church in 1860. Designed by local architect, Joseph Hartley, it is built in red sandstone with a slate roof.

Plaque to a Runcorn WWI hero
This plaque, on the front of the old Police Station in Runcorn, is a memorial to Private Thomas Alfred Jones - "Todger" Jones - a Runcorn man who earned a Victoria Cross by capturing 102 Germans singlehandedly in Morval on 15 Sept 1914. Old Market Hall/Public Baths
Situated in Bridge Street, this building was the original Market Hall built in 1856. In the early 19th century it became a public baths which could be floored-over for dances, amateur dramatic productions, boxing and wrestling matches to be held there. It is still used as a swimming baths today.
