Rag and bone man, Forge Road, Great Sankey
Forge Road is an unmade cul-de-sac off Station Road in Great Sankey. The old forge, the roof of which can be seen on the extreme right, was used as a workshop for many years until converted to a bungalow in the mid eighties. The rag and bone man went away empty handed.
