Former Quaker Meeting House, Meeting Lane
Meeting Lane acquired its name from the Quakers' Meeting House which is on the left hand side. It is now a community centre.

Former Quaker Meeting House, Penketh
The Quakers' Meeting House, which is situated on Meeting Lane,was one of the first public meeting places in Penketh. The gravestones of the old Quakers can still be seen in the gardens along the wall on the right hand side. The building is now used as a community centre.

Old Milestone by the A57, Liverpool Road, Great Sankey
Carved stone post by the A57, in parish of GREAT SANKEY (WARRINGTON District), Liverpool Road; 20m West of junction with Hadleigh Close, on the verge in undergrowth, on South side of road. Prescot stone, erected by the Liverpool, Prescot, Ashton & Warrington turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : TO / PRESCOT / 7 / MILES / TO / LIVERPOOL / 15 / MILES : : TO / WARRINGTON / 3 / MILES : Carved benchmark on top. Grade II listed.
