Moore Lane Swing Bridge
Moore Lane Swing Bridge over the Manchester Ship Canal is a Grade II Listed Building http://www.britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/en-58966-moore-lane-bridge-over-manchester-ship-ca Built around 1894 it is a steel segmental arched riveted structure with lattice parapet, built-up stanchions, cross-bracing and bracing across carriageway at high level. The bridge is operated from the north bank by means of hydraulic power and has an arrangement of support buildings with hipped slate roofs.
