Here running alongside a remnant of the Runcorn and Latchford Canal. A large part of the route of this disused canal has been designated as a linear wildlife reserve - note the birdboxes.

Significantly quieter than in the 1960s when traffic queues could reach epic proportions, especially on summer Saturdays with traffic between Lancashire and North Wales funnelling through Warrington.
