Millhouse Lane and slip road
The lane is on the left. On the right the slip road for traffic leaving the westbound M62 to join the northbound M6. The direction of travel on the slip road is toward the camera. Just out of shot to the right is another slip road travelling in the opposite direction for traffic doing the opposite manoeuvre, off the eastbound M62 for the southbound M6. The flyover carries the M62.

M62 Flyover, Warrington.
This is a small section of flyover of the M62 around where the M62 joins the M6 at junction 10/21a. This was taken where the M62 crosses Millhouse Lane and runs parallel to Spring Lane for a short distance.

Curving under the M6, Croft Interchange (M6/M62)
One of the "unrolled" slip roads at this "partially unrolled cloverleaf" motorway junction. A very clever piece of design and engineering. For more information on UK road junction design and types, see http://www.cbrd.co.uk/interchanges/.

Croft Interchange - west to north clip road
The long, gentle curve of one of the "unrolled" clover leafs. A clever design whose only flaw is the slightly disturbing presence of oncoming headlights on the left at night from traffic on the east to south slip road. See http://www.cbrd.co.uk/interchanges/ for more details of UK road interchange design and types.
