The Chat Moss Hotel, Glazebury
Interesting to speculate whether George Stephenson consoled himself here whilst contemplating how on earth he was going to drive a railway across Chat Moss. Though not over a pint of Marstons which can be presently enjoyed here. Whatever it might have been, the bridge behind is testament to his success.
