Parish Boundary Marker by the B5207, in parish of Golborne (Wigan District), at the join of Lowton Road, Golborne, and Golborne Road, Lowton. In hedge, behind railings fronting row of bungalows, Northwest side of road.

Former Primitive Methodist Church, Golborne
The Primitive Methodist Church, on Lowton Road in Golborne, was built in 1900. It was built in front of the old church dating from 1869. There are four commemorative stones in the brickwork, bearing the date July 7th, 1900.
The church was closed in 2007.
